GETFund Postgraduate Scholarship Call for Application – Portal Login
The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) is accepting applications for Postgraduate (Masters Programmes) scholarships for the 2024/25 Academic Year. The application period is from 3rd June 2024 to 16th June 2024.
Application Process
- Apply Via Scholarship Portal
- Visit the GETFund website to access the scholarship portal and complete the online application form.
- Provide Required Documentation
- Complete the online form with the required information and upload the necessary documents for vetting and shortlisting.
- Application Status Update
- Communication on application status, instructions, and updates will be via email and SMS. Further actions by successful applicants will continue via the portal.

Eligibility
- Must be a Ghanaian.
- Must have obtained admission to undertake a Masters or Undergraduate (Medicine only, in Eastern Europe & Asia).
- Must hold a first degree with at least a second-class (for Master’s applicants).
- Must be available to start academic studies by the beginning of the academic year for which sponsorship is sought.
- Must not be pursuing a PhD or Master’s degree at the time of application.
- Must not be a previous beneficiary of a GETFund Foreign Scholarship in the same category (Masters or PhD).
Academic Requirements
- Admission letter from an accredited university (unconditional and financial condition letters only).
- Fee schedule.
- Previous academic certificates (where applicable).
- Previous transcript (where applicable).
- Project or research proposal (not exceeding 5 pages) for Masters and PhD applicants.
Supporting Documents
- Curriculum Vitae.
- Academic referees.
- Letter of recommendation (occupational).
- Support document from employer for academic leave (where applicable).
- Passport bio page.
- Ghana Card.
- National Service certificate (where applicable).
Special Dispensation
- Programmes in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM).
- Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
- Special needs programmes.
- National Initiative Priority programmes.
- Applicants holding offers for tuition-free universities.
- Lecturers of public tertiary institutions (via GTEC).
- Persons with special needs.

- Fill out the application form and upload required documents.
- Review the application summary.
- Submit the application.
