The Portal:
- The GHS Study Leave Application Portal is a one-stop shop for members to access all available study leave portals.
Accessing the Portal:
- Open your web browser.
- Search for “GHS Study Leave Portal”.
- Click to access the homepage.
Declaration of Intention:
- The first portal you’ll see is “Declaration of Intention.”
- Here, you’ll find the academic year and its status (open or closed).
- Current Status: Applications for the 2024/2025 academic year are likely closed. The portal typically opens around October, so keep checking for updates.
The Academic Year and the Status for the year is shown thus whether Opened or Closed
Eg;
- 2022/2023 Academic year
- 2023/2024 Academic Year
- 2024/2025 Academic Year

Dear All,
You are welcome to the GHS study leave portal. Please, note that the portal is opened for staff who have been granted provisional study leave for the …………………academic year.
Such staff are required to use this portal to apply for FINAL study leave approval.
In addition, one will need to have obtained an admission letter for the approved course and the course must start in the ………………..academic year.
As a result, the portal will be opened for people to apply as and when they gain admission.
