Lost or Damaged WASSCE/BECE Certificate: How to Retrieve Online Attestation
Lost or Damaged WASSCE/BECE Certificate: How to Retrieve Online Attestation
Have you misplaced, lost, or damaged your WASSCE or BECE certificate and need a new one urgently? Here are some policy guidelines and steps to get an attestation document as quickly as possible.
Policy on Certificate Replacement
The West African Examination Council (WAEC) does not issue duplicate certificates. This policy is common among many institutions, including universities. While results slips can be downloaded and copied multiple times, certificates cannot be reprinted by the council. Instead, WAEC provides an attestation of results, which is as valid as the original certificate.
