Dear Director General,
AWARD OF CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT POINTS (CPD)
POINTS TO DESERVING TEACHERS WHO PARTICIPATED IN PLC SESSIONS

I extend warm compliments and congratulations to all Senior High Schools (SHS), Senior High
Technical Schools (SHTS) and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
schools for successfully completing the second Professional Learning Community (PLC) Session
Handbook titled “Introduction to the SHS, SHTS, and STEM Curriculum.” We are pleased to
report an overall participation rate of 81 percent.

We at the National Teaching Council are now prepared to initiate the process of awarding CPD
points to deserving teachers who participated in the PLC sessions for the second handbook.
To facilitate this process, we request that all headmasters and headmistresses of SHS, SHTS and
STEM submit the following details of the teachers who participated in the PLC sessions:

1. Name of Teacher
2. Email Address
3. Phone Number
4. License Number

5. Number of Times Teacher Attended PLC Sessions for the Second Handbook

We have attached an Excel template with the above headings for headmasters and headmistresses
of SHS, SHTS, and STEM schools to complete and submit to the NTC. Once the template is
completed, all headmasters and headmistresses of SHS, SHTS, and STEM schools should visit
the link below and upload the template to enable us to award the CPD points.

We would be grateful if this could be done before 21st June 2024.
