Job Overview

We are in search of a highly motivated Manager of Professional Education Development to become an integral part of our innovative team. Reporting directly to the Director of the Office of Professional Education & Development, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and implementing a variety of non-degree and non-credit educational programs. These offerings encompass professional trainings, certifications, certificate programs, micro-credentialing, along with organizing both in-person and virtual conferences. This position is crucial for augmenting non-tuition revenue streams while simultaneously enhancing the educational landscape for both legal and non-legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manage and oversee designated programs, which include course setup on learning platforms, student enrollment, and the development of effective marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to guarantee that the program content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.
  • Work in conjunction with internal teams to facilitate the recruitment and onboarding of program instructors and adjunct lecturers.
  • Conduct ongoing research to remain current on trends within the legal and non-legal sectors.
  • Forge partnerships with external organizations to co-create and co-promote educational programs.
  • Regularly assess program revenue and effectiveness through participant feedback and report findings.

Required Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education or professional education development.
  • Proficiency with software tools such as MS Office, Teams, OneDrive, Canva, and video conferencing platforms (Zoom/Google Meet).
  • Knowledge of learning management systems such as Canvas and Banner is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with continuing education standards and trends in the legal industry.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability to fluctuating work demands, including the possibility of occasional travel.
