REGISTRATION EXERCISE
RE: EXTENSION OF PERMISSION PERIOD
A sequel to our letter referenced GES/S&ID/MSCL/2024/045 and dated 6th May, 2024 on the
above-mentioned subject matter, reference is made to the Electoral Commission of Ghana’s
statement on Tuesday, 7th May, 2024 regarding the challenges associated with ongoing limited
registration exercise which have slowed down the registration process.
Accordingly, the Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has extended the permission
period for students aged 18 and above participating in the exercise to Tuesday, 14th May, 2024 to
enable them to register.
Regional Directors are kindly requested to communicate this information to all Heads of SHS/SHTS
within their jurisdiction for compliance.
